NO NEED FOR WORDS -COLMAR SAYS IT ALL - 'PHIL & Jill

Colmar is like walking in a film strip. The very old buildings, the church; absolutely every corner has a photo opportunity. We were here 30 years ago when Paul and Jodi were little and we rode in this area 6 years ago. It is captivating and the next time I come I will stay at least 2 weeks. We are just strolling around and people watching over drinks at Happy Hour. There is a lot to do here theatre, museums, shopping - all will have to wait til next time as I just want to enjoy it as if we live here in this lovely apartment.

Petite Venise (spelt with an 's') is a photographer's dream

The covered market hall which is open daily the usual cheeses, wines, sausages, vegetables...the list goes on

Colmar attracts hundreds of tourists each day, particularly it seems groups of Japanese and Chinese as it is so different to their eyes.....mine too!! I just feel it can't be real

Just to give an idea. We look out our window and that's what we can see. Colmar is a compact, touristic town with its little tourist train, horse and cart to take tourists around and a free shuttle bus like we used in Caen. It is such a lovely place to relax.

So as you can see a picture tells a thousand words. Sheer enjoyment in this place.
